Digital Culture in Belgium: Brussels, Mons, Namur & Kortrijk

From November 7th to 9th, following an invitation from the Flanders Arts Institute in Brussels, a group of visitors from NRW and the Netherlands travelled to Belgium.

Four towns were included in the programme, which included visits to artists, experts and institutions and organisations working in the area of Digital Culture. In Brussels these were the iMAL Centre for Digital Cultures and Technology, Q-02 and the Bozar Centre for Fine Arts, in Mons, Arts2, in Kortrijk the BUDA Arts Centre, and in Namur the Grand Manège Theatre.

The many-faceted nature of the programme allowed the participants to gain a comprehensive overview of the scope of Belgium’s digital culture, and to meet important professionals working in the field.
